Mr. Ramen is a legacy business ramen shop located in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. Established in 1993, Mr. Ramen has been proudly serving the community for over 30 years. The restaurant serves an array of Japanese dishes using traditional recipes and techniques that has been passed down from generation to generation.

 

Shinobu san built Mr. Ramen with a respect for tradition, the love of food, and a joy in serving the community. His appreciation for his customers and interests in Japanese and Western pop culture can be seen in nuanced ways throughout the restaurant such as their interior decor and extensive collection of customer napkin art. This unique make up gives Mr. Ramen a fun and youthful voice while preserving its traditional foundations.

In 2020, with the untimely passing of Shinobu san, the shop was passed down to his sons. As new owners, his sons aim to maintain the same integrity and dedication that their father put into the shop. Grateful for loyal customers and new comers alike, Mr. Ramen hopes to continue making delicious food and creating a welcoming and pleasant experience for all.
